Inspired by the structure of DNA, Helix Experimental Apartments aims to disrupt the common linear, solid shapes of apartments and explore the possibilities of how housing, business, and unique design can all interrelate.

Located at the cross roads of B.B King Blvd and Jefferson Ave in Memphis, TN lies this projects site. Set in a CBD district, Helix Experimental Apartments addresses the above by utilizing a focus on passive design, sustainability, and non traditional form. It boasts 25 units, including 8 ADA units. For more see the renderings and drawings below or the slideshow above!
