Located in Bayou Auguste at the cross roads of Division Street and Main Street is Uplift Preserve Trails. Uplift Preserve is designed to be the anchor point of an elevated nature trail system spanning the length of the bayou. Uplift Preserve looks to preserve the natural ecology around the bayou such as the marshes and wetlands, while slowing storm surges and promoting water efficiency and sustainability through design.

This project was designed using the integrative design process and sustainable design practices that are seen in LEED BD+C credits.
